97 Cookies started with a simple idea: a really good cookie can make any day a little better.
What began as Baked by Rapunizal grew from a love of baking, experimenting with flavors, and creating treats people genuinely looked forward to eating. Somewhere between the first batches, late-night recipe testing, pickups, pop-ups, and plenty of taste tests, it became clear that this was becoming something bigger than just a baking hobby.
And so, 97 Cookies was born.
The name is personal. Born in ’97. Made in Mobile. It’s a nod to where the story starts and the city where every batch comes to life.
At 97, we’re inspired by the flavors we grew up with—the desserts on family tables, Southern favorites, nostalgic snacks, and the things that just taste like home. Then we have a little fun with them. That might mean turning banana pudding into a cookie, giving a classic chocolate chip its own personality, or creating something completely unexpected.
Everything is made from scratch with quality ingredients, big flavors, and a whole lot of care. We’re not interested in making complicated treats just for the sake of being different. We want to make the kind of cookies you think about after the box is empty.
